Venus Rising Reading: Samantha Kolber, Meg Reynolds & Tricia Knoll

  • North Branch Cafe 41 State Street Montpelier United States (map)

I am thrilled to be joined by poets Meg Reynolds and Tricia Knoll to read our work from the recently published anthology Venus Rising: Musings & Lore from Women Writers  (Our Galaxy Publishing). Proceeds from the sale of this beautiful book supports FemTruth Youth, a student-centered non-profit raising awareness of gaslit health and menstruation issues for legislative protections of human rights and change in societal norms.

I will read my first published piece of fiction, a speculative short story called “The Shift,” and Meg and Tricia will read their poetry. We will also read poems from our most recent published books (see author bios below).

This event is free and open to the public, with thanks to the North Branch Cafe and PoemCity for their co-sponsorship. Tea, wine, and books will be for sale, with a poetry Q&A and book signing. PLUS there will be a RAFFLE to WIN a copy of VENUS RISING! Thanks to Our Galaxy Publishing, we will give away one copy of the book, signed by Samantha, Meg, and Tricia. To enter the raffle, simply come to the reading and leave your name in our raffle box for a chance to win!
